Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Brij Villa Jaisalmer, we strive to offer seamless, flexible booking experiences while maintaining operational excellence. We understand that travel plans can change, and our policies are structured to handle modifications transparently.

1. Standard Booking Cancellation Guidelines

Cancellation fees are determined by the time remaining between your written cancellation notice and your scheduled check-in date (02:00 PM IST):

• 14 Days or More Prior to Arrival: Full 100% refund of the advance deposit, minus a nominal 3% administrative bank processing fee.
• 7 to 13 Days Prior to Arrival: 50% refund of the total booking value (50% retention fee applies).
• Less Than 7 Days Prior to Arrival: Non-refundable (100% retention charge applies).
• No-Shows & Early Departures: In the event of a guest non-arrival without prior written notice or early check-out during the stay, no refund will be issued.

2. Peak Season & Festival Bookings

Special seasonal terms apply for high-demand dates, including Diwali, Christmas, New Year’s Eve (Dec 20 – Jan 5), and the Jaisalmer Desert Festival:

• All reservations during peak period dates require a 100% non-refundable deposit upon booking confirmation.
• Cancellations or modifications made for bookings within these blackout dates are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. Group & Event Bookings

Reservations involving 5 or more suites, wedding banquets, or full property buyouts are governed by bespoke event contracts provided during reservation. Group cancellations typically require a minimum of 30 days' advance notice for partial deposit recovery.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

• Approval: Approved refund requests are processed within 48 hours of written cancellation acknowledgment.
• Credit Timeline: Refunded amounts will be remitted back via the original mode of payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking) and typically reflect in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on bank processing cycles.

5. Unforeseen Events & Force Majeure

In circumstances where severe desert weather conditions, government travel advisories, or statutory closures prevent safe arrival, Brij Villa Jaisalmer offers the option to rebook your stay for future available dates within 6 months without incurring cancellation penalty fees.
